Without a profile, you are invisible. You won’t show up in search results, so its in your best interest to create one.
Here’s How:
- Login
- Click Create Profile Listing top right, next to My Account in the purple header bar
- This will bring up a new screen with two options. HomeSeeker or HomeSharer. Click the one that is applicable.
- Answer the questions. Will take about 10 minutes. People read this profile so the more information the better.
- If you want to put a photo on then after you have filled everything in, do this. Photos are not mandatory but advisable, to draw attention and get more interest.
- Once all filled in (red Asterix is mandatory fields) then click the tick box under the photo upload area, that says, Please accept our terms and conditions and once ticked, click PREVIEW
- A new page will load and this is what your profile looks like. Its not saved yet! This is what people will see, so make sure it is what you want. Once happy, select the green button on the right that says PUBLISH – This is what saves the listing and publishes it so your visible in searches.
When you initially crated your profile the system would have generated an automatic email to you that contained the link and the title you gave your listing. You will need this to edit your profile.
Steps:
- Login
- Go to this email and click the hyperlink to the link ad it will come up
- Click the EDIT button on the right hand top side of the profile
- Make you changes, additions and edits
- Once all filled in (red Asterix is mandatory fields) then click the tick box under the photo upload area, that says, Please accept our terms and conditions and once ticked, click PREVIEW
- A new page will load and this is what your updated profile looks like. Its not saved yet!
- Once happy, select the green button on the right that says PUBLISH
The easiest way to change your password as follows:
Steps:
- Login
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where the purple footer is
- Click the PASSWORD RESET link which is underneath the Profiles section on the right
- Enter the email address you want to reset the password for
- You will get an email with a link to reset it, click this link.
- Type in your new password.
The password should be at least twelve characters long and use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols like ! ” ? $ % ^ & ).
Currently the platform filters the enquiries to the email that you signed up for. Any enquiry you send to someone they will receive in their inbox. Any response you might get from that enquiry will go to your email.
This is why it is imperative that ShareAbode is on your safe list otherwise you will miss responses and enquiries. So be sure to not just put us on your safe list, but also check your junk/spam.
